In the middle of it all, I married the love of my life and completed my bachelor's in Accounting while my wife completed her bachelor's in Nursing. I pivoted to a career in Finance and worked on my MBA in the evenings, focusing on financial and operational analysis. A few years after graduating with my MBA, I was asked to join Zions Bancorporation as an Oracle FAH Functional Analyst and haven't looked back since! I was instrumental in completing a chart of accounts (CoA) conversion where I helped design and implement 12 FAH feeds and facilitate CoA changes in the source systems. One of the many benefits for the bank was increased control and agility in the creation of accounting entries. They were empowered to streamline accounting changes by skipping long development and testing cycles at the source system level and having the FAH production support team update FAH configs/rules and validate with targeted testing. It has now been a few years since I joined the PwC Oracle practice. I am blessed to be working with such talented and dedicated professionals and to be working with such amazing clients that have asked us to help transform their finance technological footprint. I look forward to all the wonderful challenges, successes, and relationships my time at PwC will bring. I LOVE what I do!
